Vintage Watercolour Painting of Poppies & Wildfowers by D A Morris, Frame Size 16 7/10 x 12 7/10 ins

1970s original artwork, mounted and framed. Ready to hang. Majority watercolour painting, with some pencil work and very subtle inscribed markings.

Wild flowers, including poppies (subtle pinky-red and white colour), and other flowers in yellow and blue-violet colours, with green leaves and stems. White background. Delicate style and gentle colours. Signed ' D. A. Morris '77 ' on the picture.

Frame Details:
Muted grey-green card overlay mount. Wooden frame, finished in muted gold colour with fine beading to front. Non-reflective (with a very fine stipple) glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes with string for hanging. The rear fittings are newer.

External dimensions, including frame, approx 16 7/10 x 12 7/10 inches, 42.5cm x 32.3cm.
Size of visible artwork (the mount aperture) 11 7/10 x 7 7/10 inches, 29.8cm x 19.6cm.
Upright.

Condition Notes:
Artwork excellent. Top right corner of mount aperture is slightly rough on the cut edge, see picture. Rest of mount, glass and frame back excellent. Frame edges and corners have small scuff marks/abrasions, and a small gap on one bottom mitred corner of frame.
