Vintage Julius Rolshoven 'La Primavera' Print (Printemps Spring), Frame Sized 15 8/10 x 12 7/10 ins

Circa 1980s print edition and frame, of a 19th or early 20th century artwork.
Tonal black and white lithographic print (on slightly textured/mottled cream colour paper or thin card), mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

A 3/4 length portrait of a young lady (head to side) carrying a large basket of flowers, standing in a field with long grass and flowers, and trees to background. Integral border with printing plate impression mark, printed signature 'Julius Rolshoven' and another smaller printed signature (illegible/unknown). Label on back states 'Spring/La Primavera/Printemps'. Romantic and fine Art Nouveau style. Rolshoven was an American artist, 1858-1930.

Frame Details:
Slate green board overlay mount. Moulded wooden/composite frame edges, finished in an old gold colour with beading and a mottle gold pattern to front-inner. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes and rings, with cord for hanging. Some of the rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 15 8/10 x 12 7/10 inches, 40.1cm x 32.2cm.
Size of visible artwork including borders (ie: the mount aperture size) approx 11 9/10 x 9 inches, 30.2cm x 22.8cm. Upright.

Condition Notes:
Print excellent. Outer frame sides have scuffs and blemish marks but the front-facing edges of the frame are very good to excellent with slight wear. Rest of frame excellent.
