Small original watercolour painting on a print from an engraving, signed limited edition, framed. Ready to hang.

A tree with green leaves and small red berries. Five birds, of various colours, in the tree, each with a gold ring in its beak. Random grey lines pattern around tree. Muted gold colour border (edges a little irregular, intentionally) around tree. On a cream colour surface (thick paper or thin card) to give relatively wide borders. Hand-signed and numbered 2/20 under bottom gold border. Artist M. J. Epps.
Art Style: Rustic, folksy, naive, slightly surreal.

Frame Details:
Moulded gilt frame (coated wood?), gold colour with finely ribbed edges and moulded cross shapes. Very pretty! Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal fixings, with cord for hanging.

Size:
External dimensions including frame, approx 11 7/10 x 8 inches, 29.7cm x 20.4cm. Size of artwork including gold borders only, approx 5 3/8 x 3 7/8 inches, 13.6cm x 9.5cm. Upright.

Condition:
Artwork excellent. Slight wear and a small abrasion mark to frame edges, and a couple of scuff marks on rear board. Rest of frame excellent.
