1980s Surreal Watercolour Painting, Trees and Birds, Signed, Framed Size 19 1/8 x 13 3/4 ins

Subject / Artist:
Flying birds, and trees in the background to one side, and an abstract pastel coloured shape across the scene which is four-sided with curved sides and a curl shape to one corner. Plain background (off-white). Signed by the artist (stylised unidentified signature) and dated 88. The style is surreal and dreamlike. Gentle delicate colours.

Frame Details:
Moulded wooden frame edges in brown/dark brown, with gold colour inner edge. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes with cord for hanging. Some of the rear fittings are newer.

Condition:
Possible slight fading to the colours, and some small foxing spots on the paper. Frame edges have slight wear and a few small marks. Rest of frame excellent.

Size:
External size, including frame, 19 1/8 x 13 3/4 x 3/4 inch, 48.5cm x 35cm x 2cm.
Horizontal.
