1976 print edition. Frame 1970s-80s.
Colour lithographic print, mounted (oval) and framed (upright rectangular). Ready to hang.

Label on back states 'Goldfinch by Martin Glen Loates, 1976, Printed in Canada by Nature Impressions Inc.'. A bird flying (wings upright) just above some white and pink thistles on green stems. Off-white background. No names to front. Natural fine art style and gentle colours (see condition notes below).

Frame Details:
Stepped card overlay mount - cream to main top mount and brown to inner edge mount - with oval aperture. Wooden frame, warm brown with gold inner edge. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes with cord for hanging.

Size:
External dimensions, including frame, approx 12 5/8 x 10 5/8 inches, 32cm x 27cm, upright rectangular frame.
Size of visible print only (the mount aperture) approx 9 4/10 x 7 4/10 inches, 23.7cm x 18.8cm, upright oval mount aperture.

Condition:
Some fading to the print colours but still a beautiful picture of fine quality artwork. A few small fine scratches on the glass. Very minor wear to frame edges. Rest of frame very good.
