1940s Watercolour Painting 'Daffodils April 1946' Landscape, G W Heney, Framed 12 6/10 x 10 2/10 ins

Painting from the 1940s. Frame is probably late 20th century.
Original watercolour painting, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

Titled 'Daffodils April 1946' on back of frame. A grassy field with lots of daffodils, and trees to background. Lovely gentle colours. Folksy impressionist style. Signed G. W. Heney on the painting.

Frame Details:
Muted dark brown board overlay mount. Moulded wooden frame, brown with nice grain and a good solid feel to it. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes with string for hanging. Some of the rear fittings are newer.

External dimensions, including frame, approx 12 6/10 x 10 2/10 x 8/10 inches, 32cm x 26cm x 2cm.
Size of visible painting only (the mount aperture) about 8 1/2 x 6 2/10 inches, 21.5cm x 15.7cm.
Horizontal.

Condition Notes:
Painting has some small brown spots, otherwise very good. Slight wear/marks to frame edges. Rest of frame excellent.
