Original watercolour painting, on textured cartridge paper, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

Wildflowers in colours of blue-violet, reddish pink, and white, with green leaves and stems. White background. Signed Moira Smith '83. Hand-written label on back has artist's name and address, date Oct 83, and flower names of 'Red Campion, Wild Hyacinth, Wild Beaked Parsley, adapted from the Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady'. Gentle colours and style.
Art Style: Delicate, folksy, rustic, botanical.

Frame Details:
Brown board overlay mount with oval aperture. Wooden frame, with printed floral/leaf pattern to front in colours of greens, reddish brown and black, and with gold colour inner/outer edges, and brown sides. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes, with cord for hanging. Some of the rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 13 3/8 x 11 3/8 inches, 34cm x 29cm. Upright rectangular frame.
Size of visible painting only (the mount aperture), approx 9 1/8 x 7 1/8 inches, 23.2cm x 18.1cm. Upright oval aperture.

Condition Notes:
Painting excellent on the whole with a small faint blemish on the background. A few tiny particles under the glass. Slight wear/scuffs to frame edges. Small mark on back board. Rear label aged. Rest of frame very good to excellent.
