Margaret Dovaston 'The Start' Anglers Meeting at Country Inn, Vintage Small Art Print, Framed

Small colour lithographic print, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

'The Start by Dovestan', as labelled on back of frame (name is mis-spelled though). Margaret Dovaston, popular British artist, 1884-1954. Faint printed signature on the print. Interior of a country inn with a meeting of gentlemen anglers, and a dog. The men are dressed in Georgian-Victorian style outfits.
Art Style: Fine, traditional, popular, rustic, rural life, old fashioned.

Frame Details:
Slate brown board overlay mount. Moulded wooden frame, brown with stippled gold colour inner edges. Non-reflective glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging. The rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 11 7/10 x 9 6/10 inches, 29.8cm x 24.4cm.
Size of visible print only (the mount aperture) approx 8 1/2 x 6 4/10 inches, 21.6cm x 16.3cm.
Horizontal.

Condition:
Print excellent. Very slight wear to frame edges. Rest of frame excellent.
