First Rate Ships of the Line Off the Needles, Isle of Wight by H W Affrey 1858, Vintage Print Framed

Circa 1980s print edition, of a 19th century artwork. Frame circa 1990s.
Colour lithographic print, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

A seascape with sailing ships and boats on a choppy sea, with cliffs to background, cloudy sky above and birds flying. A few buildings just visible on the coastline including a lighthouse and a windmill. The two larger vessels are galleon ships with canons visible on the nearest ship. 'First Rate Ships of the Line Off the Needles 1858 by H. W. Affrey', as named on back of frame.
Art Style: Fine, classical, nautical, realistic, dramatic.

Frame Details:
Blue board overlay mount. Moulded frame edges (coated wood or composite wood/plastic?) with a black finish. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges and metal fixing for hanging (these are newer).

External dimensions including frame, approx 12 7/10 x 9 2/10 inches, 32.2cm x 23.3cm. Size of visible print only (the mount aperture) approx 9 9/10 x 6 1/2 inches, 25.2cm x 16.5cm. Horizontal.
