Original small painting, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.
By artist Peter Hodson of Cleethorpes, England. Dated 1987.

A subtle watercolour painting, with maybe some pencil too, on paper. Depicting a rural scene of a person fishing from a small boat on water, with a background of trees, sky, birds flying, a house top and church top. Gentle colours in a delicate style with an almost dreamlike quality. Signed and dated '87 on the corner of the picture.

Frame Details:
Slate green board overlay mount. Glass to front. Nice wooden frame with stepped and curved moulding, dark brown with gold inner edges. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Artist's label stating 'an original painting', with name and address. Metal ring for hanging.

Condition:
Artwork and overlay in excellent condition. Glass mostly very good but with a couple of tiny scratches and scuffs. Wooden frame mostly very good with a few small marks. Board back has some pen marks and small blemishes.

Size:
External dimensions, including frame, approx 26.5cm x 20.5cm, 10 4/10 x 8 inches.
Size of visible artwork only (the mount aperture) approx 14.8cm x 8.8cm, 5 7/8 x just under 3 1/2 inches.
Upright presentation.
