Twickenham by William Howard (b 1800) Vintage Art Print of River Thames Landscape in Wooden Frame

1980s print edition of a 19th century artwork. Frame circa 1980s-90s.
Colour lithographic print, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.

'View near Twickenham by William Howard', as labelled on back of frame. British artist 1800-1850. Beautiful riverside landscape artwork with houses and church to background, trees and sky, river with small boats, and people and horses on the embankment. I believe the small glimpse of land on the right is Eel Pie Island. Integral small white and gold border around the print.

Frame Details:
Print mounted on top of muted green board. Lovely moulded wooden frame, darkish warm brown with a hint of red/orange, with gold colour inner edges. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging. Some of the fittings are newer.

Size:
External size, including frame, approx 13 9/10 x 10 1/2 inches, 35.3cm x 26.7cm.
Size of print including the white/gold borders (ie: the mount aperture size) approx 9 1/2 x 6 3/10 inches, 24.1cm x 16.1cm. Horizontal.

Condition:
Print excellent with just a tiny mark on the top border. Frame excellent on the whole with a few small marks/scuffs. A beautiful picture and one of our favourites!
