Circa 1950s original watercolour painting, framed. Ready to hang.

A quiet street scene in a town or village with old buildings, a Kings Head pub sign, a lady with a shopping basket, and a church tower to the background. Nice gentle colours. Appears to be painted on cartridge paper or paper mounted on board.
Artist unknown. Unsigned.
Art Style: Mid century, naive, old fashioned, quaint.

Frame Details:
Moulded wooden frame, with muted darkish blue finish to mid front, old gold colour beading to inner/outer edges, and old gold colour sides. No glass. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes, with cord for hanging. Newer refurbished rear frame fittings.

Size:
External size, including frame, approx 14 3/4 x 10 3/4 inches, 37.5cm x 27.3cm.
Upright format.

Condition:
Painting mostly excellent with just a few tiny marks in the sky. Slight wear/marks to front frame edges. Frame sides have wear, marks and variation in the gold colour. Frame back excellent.
