Vintage Watercolour Painting, Church Tower and Trees, Signed, Dated 2001, Naive Style, Framed

Dated 2001. Original watercolour painting, on slightly textured cartridge paper, mounted and framed to hang.

A church, surrounded by trees and foliage, with just the tower visible. A wall and gate to the foreground, partly covered with greenery. Sky above. Signed, but difficult to read, perhaps J. E. Harrison?, and dated 2001. Naive, folksy impressionist style.

Frame Details:
Muted dusky green board overlay mount. Narrow wooden frame edges, light brown with bamboo style markings, natural grain and a light sheen finish. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging. The rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 12 7/10 x 10 6/10 inches, 32.3 x 27cm.
Size of visible artwork only (the mount aperture size) approx 9 3/10 x 6 9/10 inches, 23.6cm x 17.5cm.
Upright presentation.

Condition Notes:
Painting excellent. Frame excellent with minimal wear.
