A landscape in the Lake District, Cumbria, England, of fields, hills and sky. Lovely muted colours. Hand written title and signature on the picture 'Borrowdale A. J. Potter'. On textured cartridge paper.
Art Style: Rustic, impressionist, dream-like, atmospheric, folksy.

Frame Details:
Slate blue board overlay mount. Moulded wooden frame, rich brown with natural grain, markings and dimples. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges and metal eyes with cord for hanging. Some of the fittings are newer.

Size:
External size including frame, approx 12 1/10 x 10 1/10 inches, 30.7cm x 25.7cm.
Size of visible painting only (the mount aperture size) approx 8 x 5 8/10 inches, 20.3cm x 14.7cm. Horizontal.

Condition:
Painting excellent. Slight wear to frame edges, otherwise frame excellent.
