Vintage Eynsford Kent Watercolour Painting, River Old Ford & Bridge, Small Artwork, Framed

Circa 1980s original small painting, watercolour and ink on cartridge paper, mounted and framed, and ready to hang.

An English village scene with old Tudor style house next to a small river with a stone bridge and ford. Trees, road and sky. Hills to background. Intergral white border around the artwork with hand-written title on bottom border 'The Old Ford and Bridge at Eynsford, Kent'. Very small monogram signature to bottom right of painting. Artist unidentified.

Frame Details:
Textured light grey (with a hint of blue-green) board overlay mount. Secondary wooden edging under the glass, next to edges of frame, warm brown colour with nice grain, and white inner side edge. Moulded/angled wooden frame edges, warm brown with gold colour line to top edge. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal lever closures. Metal eyes with cord for hanging. Most of the rear fittings are newer.

External size, including frame, approx 14 1/2 x 12 inches, 36.7cm x 30.5cm.
Size of visible artwork including white border and title (ie: the mount aperture size) approx 9 5/8 x 6 6/10 inches, 24.5cm x 16.8cm.
Horizontal presentation.

Condition Notes:
Painting excellent. On close examination a couple of tiny scuff lines on the glass. Frame edges have very slight wear, and the wood on the top side edge of the frame looks a little duller compared to the other side edges. Rest of frame excellent.
