An original freehand drawing, graphite pencil on yellowed vintage paper, mounted, and framed in an antique frame. Ready to hang.
Jeune Italienne, after Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, drawn by myself - artist V. Hart, as labelled on back of frame, and artwork signed VH bottom right.
A 3/4 length portrait of a pretty, young woman. She is standing side-on with head turned towards the viewer, and she is wearing long clothing in the country style. Drawn in a sketch style.
Corot was a French artist, 1796-1875.

Frame Details:
Slate green colour board overlay mount. Antique frame - Narrow wooden frame edges, muted brown with nice grain. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging. The rear fittings are newer than the frame itself.

External size, including frame, approx 11 x 6 inches, 28.2 x 15cm. Upright.
Size of visible artwork only (the mount aperture) approx 6 9/10 x 3 inches, 17.5cm x 7.5cm. Upright.

Condition Notes:
The vintage paper is more yellowed towards the edges. The antique glass has a few small dots and air bubbles inside the glass which is typical of older glass. Slight wear to frame edges. Rest of frame excellent.
