Portrait of a lady, in an interior setting. She is wearing elegant clothing and a hat and is lifting a curtain to look out of the window. The interior is lavishly decorated. A beautiful picture with lovely, warm colours. Label on back of frame states 'Summer, 1875 by John Atkinson Grimshaw', and a gallery label.
Art Style: Victorian society portraiture, elegant, fine and atmospheric.

Frame Details:
Print mounted on top of finely textured gold colour board. Moulded wooden frame in warm brown with black and gold inner edge lines. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging.
