A quaint, sunny village scene with cottages, trees, a narrow road, grass areas and three boys walking on the grass in the foreground. Signed bottom right Ernest Aldworth. British artist, 1889-1977.

Frame Details:
Narrow moulded wooden frame edges, mid-brown with a slight sheen finish. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes, with cord for hanging. Most of the rear fittings are new.

Size:
External size, including frame, approx 15 1/4 x 11 4/10 inches, 38.7cm x 29cm.
Horizontal.

Condition Notes: The density and colours of the painting are quite 'light'. Foxing blemish spots to all areas of the painting. A few minute scuff lines to the glass. Frame edges have a few scuff marks and little indents in the wood. See pictures please.
