Small colour lithographic print, mounted and framed. Ready to hang.
Depicting a rural fox hunting scene, 'The Burton Hunt' in 1830, by artist John Ferneley Senior (1782-1860). A meeting of hunters with horses and dogs in a landscape setting in Lincolnshire, England.
Frame Details:
Light beige board overlay mount. Moulded wooden frame, mid brown. Glass to front. Hardboard back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal eyes with string for hanging. Old newspaper cutting (undated) on the back relating to the sale of the original painting at Sotheby's in London.
Condition Notes:
Slight fading of the print colours, otherwise the print is very good. Board mount excellent. Couple of tiny scuff marks on glass. Frame edges have a few tiny indents and a couple of small shallow slivers of wood out of the surface, otherwise very good. Hardboard back and newspaper have a few marks, otherwise the back is excellent.

External size, including frame, approx 13 1/4 x 10 2/10 inches, 33.7cm x 25.8cm.
Size of visible print only (the mount aperture) 7 6/10 x 4 1/2 inches, 19.3cm x 11.4cm.
Horizontal picture.
