Picture from circa early 20th century, estimated. Frame may be later but still very old.
Antique tonal black and white (yellowed with age) small print from an etching or engraving, framed. Hand-signed and titled. Ready to hang.

Minoritenkirche Church Wien ( Vienna, Austria ). Fine illustration showing the gothic arch door, street/street lamp, and a couple of people. Printing plate impression to edge of picture. Wide integral border around artwork.
Artist: W. Berwerth. Hand-written title and signature under the picture.

Frame Details:
Wooden frame, finished in a dark reddish-brown colour, slightly shiny. Glass to front. Old hardboard back on frame with an old label with some illegible hand writing on it. Tabbed and taped edges, and metal eyes with string for hanging (these are newer than the rest of the frame).

Size:
External size including frame, approx 9 4/10 x 7 9/10 inches, 24cm x 20.2cm.
Size of artwork only, excluding title and borders, 11.7cm x 9.7cm, 4 5/8 x 3 8/10 inches.
Upright format.

Condition:
The border is yellowed with age and has small spotty blemish marks, but the artwork itself is excellent. Glass has a small slim air bubble under the surface at the bottom edge. Frame edges have scuff lines and small marks. The old back board is very marked and scuffed but solid. The other rear fittings are excellent.
