Antique hand-coloured print from a steel engraving, mounted and framed (vintage). Ready to hang.

'Lincoln Cathedral, South West Angle' as titled under the artwork, along with credits for artist Hablot Browne, and engraver B. Winkles. Outside view of the cathedral with some people around. The colouring is subtle. Integral off-white border with block printed wording to bottom border. Label on back of frame states the print is from 1840. Very fine quality engraving.
Art Style: Historical, architectural, Victorian scenery.

Frame Details:
Slate brown board overlay mount. Narrow moulded wooden frame finished in black with gold beading to front edges. Glass to front. Board back on frame with tabbed and taped edges. Metal tab for hanging. Some of the fittings are newer.

Size:
External size, including frame, approx 12 2/10 x 10 2/10 inches, 31cm x 26cm.
Size of visible print and white borders (the mount aperture size) approx 6 9/10 x 4 1/2 inches, 17.5cm x 11.5cm.
Upright format.

Condition Notes:
Slight discolouration and small marks to the print borders but the artwork is excellent on the whole. Slight wear to frame edges/corners, and a few small abrasion spots to external frame sides. Rest of frame excellent.
