Print edition circa early to mid 20th century. Frame mid 20th century.
Colour print, mounted and framed to hang. Print type undetermined. Possibly a lithograph, or from a type of engraving process such as photogravure or aquatint.

Labelled on the back "'The Annunciation' c. 1472-1476 by Leonardo de Vinci (1452-1519)". No names on the front. Outdoor garden scene with the Angel Gabriel visiting the Virgin Mary. Nice gentle colours. Classical fine art style. Small white border around print.

Frame Details:
Slightly textured gold board overlay mount. Wooden frame, finished in dark brown colour with fine gold beading. Glass to front. Paper covering over frame back. Metal eyes with cord for hanging. Some of the fittings are newer than the frame itself.

Size:
External dimensions, including frame, approx 13 x 10 1/10 inches, 33cm x 25.6cm. Size of visible print plus the little white border (ie: the mount aperture) approx 9 3/4 x 4 5/8 inches, 24.8cm x 11.7cm.
Horizontal format.

Condition:
Print excellent. Frame edges have multiple small scuffs and nicks in the surface but nothing unusual for an older frame. Rest of frame excellent.
